Sunfear is the project of Istanbul-based multidisciplinary artist Eylül Deniz. Since 2017, Deniz has worked as a composer, performer, and DJ, focusing on various aspects of ambient and experimental music. She explores electroacoustic techniques, utilizing piano, electric guitar, voice, and synthesizer. These serve as her tools for self-expression, enabling her to convey the stories she creates to the world.

"Electra" the second opus from the enigmatic Sunfear, emerges as a radiant follow-up to the warmly embraced 2022 release, "Octopus," courtesy of Dark Entries Records. While the signature misty soundscapes and dreamy realms persist, this time, Eylül Deniz delves deeper into the art of storytelling, skillfully weaving her ambient experiments with evocative prowess.
Deniz expertly employs a captivating array of tools: the ethereal echoes of field recordings, the enchanting keys of keyboards, the cosmic sweep of synthesizers, and the haunting beauty of vocal arrangements. It's a magical sound diary, where every note aligns seamlessly, beckoning forth uncanny dreams and unexpected encounters.
In this world, the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur, and a deserted, liquid realm springs to life through sound-waves. Here, a profound sense of deepwater sound emerges from the depths of our imagination, caressing our senses and inviting us to embark on a wondrous journey of sonic discovery. "Electra" is a mesmerizing odyssey, an intense and lovely testament to the boundless creativity of Sunfear.
